This publication summarises a session from the virtual 2021 Goodfellow Symposium. Speakers from Allevia Health Head & Neck Service discussed how to assess and manage neck lumps, red flags for head and neck cancers along with diagnosing and managing common presentations of oral lesions in primary care, how to manage first aid dental and maxillofacial problems, and some of the complications that could arise, such as traumatic tooth loss (avulsed tooth), infection and dry socket. The Goodfellow Symposium is a primary care symposium designed for GPs, urgent care physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners and registrars.
